How to use
Edit cells directly. Add row below the grid adds a row; Add column beside the column headings adds a column. The first icon in each row deletes that row. The icon beside each column heading deletes that column. Clear leaves a blank two-by-two grid.
Open Paste, load or save a table for TSV input, source files. Apply pasted TSV to the grid, then choose alignment, bold first row and borders. Generate LaTeX confirms the table and enables copying or downloading the code. Editing invalidates the previous result.
Reading the result
The size reports rows × columns, including the header if enabled. The preview checks the cell contents and alignment; it is an HTML approximation, not a TeX compilation. Horizontal borders separate the table edges and first row. Grid adds lines between every row and column. None emits no rule commands.
Each cell is treated as text. Special characters such as &, %, _, $, #, braces and backslashes are escaped so that they cannot silently become table separators, comments or commands. Math expressions are not detected. A newline or tab inside one cell becomes a space in the LaTeX output.
Two examples
The initial table contains Item / Value followed by A & B / 50%. Its output includes A \& B and 50\%, so the ampersand stays inside the cell. With two columns and left alignment, the column specification is ll; selecting a grid changes it to |l|l|.
A cell containing x_1 produces x\_1, while a cell containing $5 produces \$5. These are literal text values, not math mode. Empty cells remain present, so a two-column row with one blank value still has two cells.
Saving and using the output
Save source downloads the grid as TSV, with quotes around cells that contain tabs, quotes or newlines. Load source restores that data without treating it as an initial example. TSV stores cell values only: alignment, bold header and border choices remain the current controls. Save before leaving the page because there is no automatic storage.
Download .tex contains a tabular fragment. Put it inside your own LaTeX document; it does not contain a document class or a complete preamble. Preview the compiled document in your usual TeX environment before publishing.
What are the limits?
The editor allows 50 rows, 20 columns and 200,000 source characters, with at most 10,000 characters per cell. Invalid quoted TSV is rejected. A short row is padded with empty cells when pasted. Remove a trailing empty line if you do not want an extra row.
Can I paste formulas or merge cells?
Formulas are kept as literal text. Merged cells, nested tables and custom packages are outside this editor. Add advanced formatting in your LaTeX editor after exporting.
Will all languages compile?
Unicode cell text is preserved. Your TeX engine, fonts and document language settings determine whether those characters render. The browser preview cannot certify that environment.
Is the source uploaded or saved automatically?
Table processing and file generation happen in this browser. Download TSV to keep a reusable source; closing or reloading the page discards unsaved work.
