How to make a printable monthly habit tracker
- Enter one habit label per line. Keep an empty line when you want an unlabeled row to write on paper.
- Choose the year and month; the grid automatically uses the correct 28, 29, 30, or 31 days and weekday labels.
- Choose A4 or US Letter, then build and inspect the preview.
- Print the blank grid or choose “Save as PDF” in the browser dialog. Optionally save the editable JSON source for later changes.
How to use the printed grid
Each row is one habit and each column is one calendar day. After printing, mark a blank square only when you complete that habit on that date. The page does not record those marks.
Example
For February 2028, the grid contains 29 dated columns because 2028 is a leap year. “Drink water”, a blank row, and “Read” remain three separate printable rows.
Limits and printing
- Maximum 12 rows and 80 characters per label. Long labels wrap in the left column instead of hiding text.
- The month length and weekday labels use the selected calendar year. The tool accepts years 1900–2100.
- One fixed landscape table is provided for A4 or US Letter. Browser printer margins and scaling can vary, so confirm the selected paper size in the print dialog.
- This is a blank printable, not a daily tracking app: no saved checkmarks, accounts, reminders, streaks, gamification, or long-term history.
Printable habit tracker FAQ
Does the PDF download directly?
Use Print / Save PDF, then select “Save as PDF” in your browser’s print dialog.
Can I keep editing the labels later?
Yes. Save the optional versioned JSON source and load it into this page later. It contains labels and month settings, not daily checkmarks.
Why are some months shorter?
The grid follows the real calendar, including leap-year February, instead of always showing 31 columns.
