FROM LIST TO LAST SEAT

Plan it once. Keep it easy to change.

Up to 200 guests, 30 tables, and 20 seats per table. No account needed.

01

Bring your guest list

Paste one name per line, or export a CSV UTF-8 file from your spreadsheet. Review the name column before adding guests.

02

Make room for everyone

Add round or rectangular tables. Fill empty seats, then move people individually. Search the unseated list to catch anyone missing.

03

Print and keep a backup

Preview your floor plan and table list. Save a backup before closing so you can return for those last-minute changes.

Where is my guest list stored?

Editing happens in this browser. Names are not uploaded. Device saving is optional; anyone using the same browser profile may be able to open that copy. Downloaded backups also contain names. Use Save & open to manage your device copy.

Can I move guests on a phone?

Yes. Select a guest and use the seat selector. You can also tap numbered seats. Use table direction buttons instead of dragging, and scroll inside the floor plan to see more.

What if the printout looks different?

Match Letter or A4 and the orientation in the browser print dialog. Use 100% scale and disable browser headers and footers. Long names wrap in the table list. Review the PDF before printing; exact printer margins can vary.

A PRACTICAL GUIDE

A free seating chart maker for weddings and events

Turn a guest list into an editable table seating plan for a wedding reception, banquet, reunion, or company dinner. Arrange tables, assign individual seats, and print a floor plan and table-by-table guest list from the same event.

Plan a wedding reception

Start with your confirmed guests and the tables available at your venue. Seat each person individually so you can keep a household together or adjust a single guest without rebuilding the whole chart.

Organize a banquet or dinner

Name tables to match your event, choose round or rectangular shapes, and set the number of seats at each table. Check the unseated count before printing. The floor plan is a seating diagram, so confirm room dimensions and aisle space with your venue separately.

Handle last-minute changes

Search for a guest, move them to another seat, or correct a name in the guest list. Use Undo if a change is wrong. Download an updated backup and regenerate your printout so the table list matches the latest seating assignments.

Seating chart questions

Can I import a guest list from Excel or Google Sheets?

Yes. Export your spreadsheet as CSV UTF-8 or TSV, then choose the column containing guest names in the import preview. If first and last names are in separate columns, combine them into one full-name column first. You can also paste one guest per line. Repeated names remain separate guests; review them before assigning seats.

Does the tool automatically choose who sits together?

Fill empty seats places unseated guests in guest-list order and keeps existing assignments. It does not decide relationships or seating preferences. To keep a group together, assign those guests to the same table and review the numbered seats yourself.

Can I make a printable seating chart on US Letter or A4?

Yes. Choose a floor plan, table list, or both in the Print tab. US Letter is 8.5 × 11 inches; A4 is 210 × 297 mm. Match the paper size and orientation in your browser’s print dialog, then print or choose Save as PDF if available. Keep a JSON backup as well: a PDF is a print copy, while the backup lets you reopen and edit your event.

Is this seating chart maker free to use?

The current editor, guest-list import, seat assignments, backups, and basic floor-plan and table-list printing are free. No account is required. Each event supports up to 200 guests and 30 tables, with up to 20 seats per table.
