How to convert shoe sizes
Start with the label inside a shoe that fits, or the size stated on a product page. Select the reference chart for the footwear you are comparing. Choose the system printed next to your known size: US men, US women, UK, EU, JP/CM or BR. Enter the number and choose Find size. The result lists every matching row across all six columns, and the same rows are highlighted in the table.
Use the men's chart for a men's model and the women's chart for a women's model. These chart names describe product sizing, not who can wear the shoe. Changing charts can change the answer. If you already have a confirmed result, changing the chart or size system updates the lookup; editing the number clears the result until you confirm again.
Two useful examples
In the men's reference chart, US men 8 corresponds to US women 9.5, UK 7 and EU 41. This is a useful starting point when an imported listing shows an EU number but your existing shoe uses a US men's label.
In the women's reference chart, US women 8 corresponds to US men 6.5, UK 5.5 and EU 39. Notice that this is not the UK value obtained by treating every US label as a men's size. Always keep the chart name with a conversion you save or share.
How to measure your feet
Place paper on a firm, level floor. Stand with weight on the foot you are measuring and mark the heel and longest toe. Measure the straight distance between those marks, then repeat on the other foot. Take that measurement to the length guide for the exact model you want. The small drawing above shows the measuring direction; it is not a printable ruler.
A size written in centimetres on a shoe label is not necessarily the measured length of your foot or the inside length of the shoe. This converter intentionally looks up size labels rather than estimating a label from foot length. Keep your measurement and the brand's length chart together when shopping.
Why the tables are separate
Shoe sizes are discrete labels. This tool reads explicit rows instead of applying one subtraction to every brand or interpolating between European sizes. The included subset covers US men 3.5–14 in the men's chart and US women 3.5–14 in the women's chart. It includes neither children's sizes nor a width conversion.
Some labels occur twice. For example, UK 6 in the men's chart has two matching rows. Both are shown; an ambiguous label is not enough to identify one US size. Compare the product's other labels or ask the retailer which row applies.
Can I use this for another brand?
Use it as a clearly labelled reference, then check the other brand's own chart. A shared EU or US number does not establish identical shape, width or room at the toes. This page has no connection with Nike and does not recommend a particular product.
What if my size is missing?
Confirm that the number belongs to the selected system and chart. A missing size produces an error instead of an invented estimate. Read the adjacent listed rows for context, but use the manufacturer's full guide for sizes outside this subset. Enter decimal sizes as 8.5 or 8,5, without unit names or fractions.
Does a men's-to-women's conversion change width?
No. The US men and US women columns compare labels in the selected reference, not shoe width. Width markings and the actual model still need separate checking. The tool cannot determine comfort from a number alone.
How can I keep the answer?
Copy result saves the chart name and the matching labels as text. Editing a number invalidates that answer so that an old conversion is not copied accidentally. Clear removes your entry and result while retaining your chart choices. A faint example can return in an empty field; it does not restore a confirmed answer.
