How to use the chart
Choose your standing-height range and body-weight range. The highlighted column and row meet at a reference bat length. You can also read the full table without selecting anything. Clear removes the selection, not the chart.
Measure height and bat length
Measure from the floor to the top of your head without shoes. Measure the bat from the bottom of the knob to the end of the barrel—not just its thick section. Height and bat length are separate measurements; the diagrams are not drawn to a shared scale.
Example: height 55 in and weight 95 lb
Select 53–56 in and 91–100 lb. The table gives 30 in (76.2 cm) as a starting length to try. The matching metric bands are approximately 135–142 cm and 41.3–45.4 kg.
Where these values come from
This table follows the public equipment guide from Katy Girls Softball Association (KGSA), Texas, United States. It is not tied to a bat brand, shop or product model. It is a fastpitch reference, not an international standard or a separate slowpitch sizing guide.
Published bands and empty cells are preserved. The source leaves 60 lb unassigned and overlaps 171–180 lb with 180+ lb. For boundary measurements, compare nearby rows with a coach; this page does not invent a precise recommendation. Metric ranges are rounded conversions, not new size boundaries.
Does the table choose the right bat for me?
It helps narrow down length, but it does not choose bat weight or drop. Try the bat and check swing control and comfort. Country is shown as source context; it does not change the table or certify a bat for your league. Check your competition’s current equipment requirements separately.
